A Severe-Duty Water-Resistant Emulsion

E•las•tek #500 Sealer Emulsion is a thick, paste-like, black, reinforced coating containing plasticized asphalt in an emulsion form for use with E•las•tek elastomeric coatings.

About Sealer Emulsion #500:

• When applied to recommended thickness, #500 Sealer Emulsion is highly resistant to ponding water and severe moisture conditions. Can be used in scupper areas, around drains and valleys, and in low areas expected to trap water. Will not re-emulsify in ponding water. Once cured, this emulsion is hard, very durable, and weathers well.
• Sealer Emulsion is designed for use as a maintenance coating and as a final seal coating on a cold process roof before topcoating. The reinforcing fibers strengthen the coating and allow thicker applications. 
• When used on roofs, Sealer Emulsion should be coated with E·las·tek top coatings to protect from sun damage. Usually will not discolor white top coat. May be used over existing asphalt roofing, wood, metal, concrete, or masonry.
• An economical coating which allows good coverage and is easy to brush or roll. See our How To Apply Roof Coatings guide. Apply at a rate of 4 gallons per 100 sq.ft. Two coats recommended for maximum protection.
