Qualified Elastomeric Roof Coatings
Americans spend about $40 billion annually to air condition buildings – one
-sixth of all electricity generated in this country.
ENERGY STAR qualified roof coatings, such as E•las•tek’s Solar Tek Extreme (#120), Solar Mastic (#100), and Solar Magic (#109) have undergone
extensive EPA review for both initial and long-term performance. The EPA
-required tests have proven these coatings’ ability to reflect more of the
sun's rays. This can lower roof surface temperature by up to 50°F,
decreasing the amount of heat transferred into a building.
